Some of technologies we have worked on are: mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, electronics and telecommunications, chemical, pharmaceutical, bio-medical, and software. By using Lexadigm’s global team of patent specialists, the clients are able to enjoy cost savings ranging from 30% to 60%, without compromising on quality.

Lexadigm is frequently retained by various corporations to assist them in global patent prosecution support, where Lexadigm manages the clients’ national and international (PCT) filings, including initial filings and subsequently receiving and reviewing office actions, and drafting responses to office actions. We minimize clients’ costs by unbundling the IP services, where our Intellectual Property team does bulk of the drafting with limited involvement by a registered patent attorney/agent when it is necessary.

A multinational corporation retained Lexadigm to conduct a global patent mapping exercise of patents registered to a competitor. Lexadigm compiled the data in a tabular format and also identified the competitive and legal strengths and weaknesses of the competitor’s granted and pending patents vis-à-vis other relevant patents.
-
International consumer and industrial product manufacturers frequently engage Lexadigm to provide analysis for the cases of whether they can bring a product to market without the risk of infringing on an existing patent and whether a competitor’s product may be infringing on their own patented intellectual property. In the former case, Lexadigm determines the relevant features of a client’s product to conduct a multijurisdictional search of issued patents and published patent applications and reviews the product’s relevant features against the prior art retrieved in the search. In an infringement analysis, Lexadigm compares a competitor’s product against the client’s patent portfolio to allow the client to better determine whether to proceed with an infringement action against a competitor.
-
A corporation that was considering a number of potential marks for registration worldwide retained Lexadigm to gather and report on registered marks in a variety of jurisdictions that posed potential obstacles to registration of the corporation’s marks. The corporation used Lexadigm’s work product in selecting the marks for which it applied for registration.

Lexadigm was retained by a major healthcare group to review 1 – 1.5 million pages (first-pass review for relevance, privileges, and hot issues) in an antitrust, class action law suit. The entire review was conducted using our India-based review attorneys. The client had used Lexadigm’s legal research services in the past and was very impressed with the quality. The project saved the client over 50% in review cost when compared to an on-shore review conducted by the client in-house using temporary staffing and over 80% in cost when compared to an on-shore review conducted by client’s outside law firm.
